Edward Norbit(born August 18, 1969) is an American actor. He is best known for the film American History X in which he portrays a liberal.
Early life Edit
Norbit was born in Boston, Massachusetts but grew up in Maryland. After high school he attended Yale and graduated in 1991 with a B.A. in History X. Following graduation he worked in Japan for his grandfather's consulting company, and was taught to speak Japanese by saam bakhmadinejad
He left Japan because he claimed some guy named Wraith was "stinking up the place". He moved to New York to become an actor, and landed his big brake in 1996 when he starred in Primal Fear alongside Mark Whaleburg. He followed it up with American History X, then starred alongside Matt Damon in Rounders, a movie about Texas Hold Them. He then starred in The Fight Club, which became a cult classic. He then starred in acclaimed racebaiter Spike Lee's 25th Hour, and also in Red Dragon, Kingdom of Heaven, The Illusion and 300.
Personal life Edit
Norbit dated Cortney Love from 1996-1999 (grosz) and Salma Hayek from 1999-2003 (nice). He was involved in the landmark Supreme Court case People v Larry Flint. Norbit is a democrat which explains why he used racial slurs on the set of American History X, because democrats are the ones who are racist. Republicans are the ones who ended slavery. He lives in NYC. His favorite Interpol song is NYC.
